Pilates, created by Joseph Pilates in the 1930s, is all about building strength, flexibility, posture, and balance through mindful movement. It focuses on engaging your core (your "Powerhouse") and is based on six key principles: Precision, Flow, Control, Breathing, Concentration, and Centre. Pilates isn’t just about the physical benefits, it’s a wonderful way to boost your overall well-being and calm your mind. At Casa Core, we love guiding you with hands-on corrections (unless you tell us otherwise!) and give clear instructions so you can gain strength throughout your entire body!
-
Reformer Pilates uses a special machine to give you a full-body workout, helping to strengthen your core and tone those major muscle groups. It’s fun and challenging, and we offer four classes to choose from: Form, Booty & Core, Sculpt, and Bounce.
-
If you’re new to Reformer, we recommend starting with our Form class! It’s perfect for beginners, helping you focus on getting your form right and feeling comfortable on the Reformer. Arriving 10 minutes early will give you a chance to get familiar with the studio and equipment, and don’t forget your grip socks, we also sell these at the studio! We usually recommend taking 3 Form classes before you move on to Sculpt, we advise chatting with your instructor to ask if you’re ready to level up!

Unlike standard heated workouts, infrared heat warms the body directly, not just the air. This gentle, penetrating warmth stimulates circulation, supports recovery, and encourages detoxification, leaving you feeling lighter, energised, and renewed.
Infrared therapy promotes clearer, healthier skin by improving blood flow and aiding natural detoxification, giving you that unmistakable post-class glow.
Enjoy a more efficient calorie burn while keeping stress off your joints. The deep, consistent heat enhances flexibility, mobility, and endurance, for stronger movement with less strain. -
Our mat studio is heated to a safely warm temperature between 30 -32°C, the perfect environment for a deep, detoxifying sweat. More calories burned, a stronger metabolism, and faster recovery time. Infrared heat is safe and non-invasive.
-
Please arrive well-hydrated and bring a water bottle, we have a filtered tap for refills in the mat studio and we sell boxed water at reception if you forget yours.
We provide mats, mat towels & sweat towels for every hot class, so you can simply show up and move!

We’re so happy to welcome you to yoga! Let your instructor know it’s your first time, and we’ll be sure to offer extra support.

Wear whatever makes you feel good and comfortable!
For all Reformer Pilates classes, it is mandatory to wear grip socks in all classes (they’re safer for you and the equipment).
If you’re joining a Yoga class, feel free to bring a cozy sweater to enjoy during savasana or in our yin & sound class!
For our Infrared Hot classes, we recommend comfortable athletic clothing that allows you to move freely. Be prepared to get sweaty!
Grip socks are not mandatory for Infrared Hot classes but we do advise wearing them for the best experience.

Absolutely! We just recommend you always consult with your doctor first before booking any of our classes.
If you’re pregnant, we welcome clients up to 20 weeks in our group Form Reformer classes, please let both reception and your instructor know before class starts, so we can support you with any necessary modifications. Not all of our instructors are prenatally trained, if you’d prefer to be guided by someone with that expertise, just ask, and we’ll recommend the best instructor for you.
You are also welcome to join our Feel Good Vinyasa Yoga classes. Your instructor will guide you with tailored modifications to make sure you feel supported throughout your practice!
If you are past 20 weeks and would still like to practice with us, you are very welcome to book a 1-1 session by emailing us. The instructor can closely support and guide you through movements that are safe and beneficial for you at this stage.
*We do not recommend our yin classes as the increase in the hormone Relaxin can allow students to stretch beyond their normal capacity, leading to instability.
*Our Infrared Hot Classes are not suitable during pregnancy. Infrared heat raises your core body temperature slightly, which is great for general detox purposes but not advised for expecting mothers.
